Marcel Seip, who has trained with the VVV-Venlo
selection since Tuesday 3 July, was offered a contract on 15 July from the Venlo
club. The 30-year old defender still needs to be given the medical green light,
and is set to sign a contract which will bind him to the Venlo club for one
season.
Seip, who
was out of contract, played last season for English team Bradford City. He has
previously played for the likes of Plymouth Argyle, sc Heerenveen and BV
Veendam. In addition to VVV-Venlo, a Polish and Turkish
club from the highest level showed interest in the defender.
